Exclusive solo with controller?
Hi guys. I have mapped the solo buttons of each channel strip to 10 buttons on my footcontroller - all works fine. They are outputting note commands, if that helps. I can enable exclusive solo mode and click the solo bottons - works as expected - one solo at a time. I can also do this with my Novation controller. However, I have mapped the footcontroller to the solo buttons by right clicking 'remote control' - and it seems to ignore exclusive solo! I am guessing the only reason the Novation is different is because of Automap. Please help :) Thanks!

No problem :) I know this one is a bit of a long shot haha. I decided to try it using ACT - that works. Thought it might. However, mapping is troublesome..It seems to randomly pick and choose whether each footswitch is going to act as a momentary or latching switch each time I LEARN. Not with the same results on each channel every time either, so it's not settings on the pedal. Of course, having to hold down the footswitch to keep it soloed is no good... I've never really used ACT before. I got the impression it's used for settings that 'move around' - i.e. I could find this affecting other channels and plugins by accident if I don't know what I'm doing? That's why I tried to use remote control - it seems to be a lot more about individual messages for single parameters.

Anyone have a clue as to why the buttons are responding as I said? "However, mapping is troublesome..It seems to randomly pick and choose whether each footswitch is going to act as a momentary or latching switch each time I LEARN" Funny thing is now they seem to be doing it consistantly. Even in remote control mode , which I said in the OP was fine. I haven't touched the pedal settings since this thread was made.

AND - it works correctly (latching) on the input echo function or mute etc. - it's definitely Sonar that's the problem here.
