Can I install X1 Expanded over Sonar Producer X1d?

Can I install X1 Expanded over Sonar Producer X1d?

Just got my download link to X1 Expanded today.

On the download page it says that I have to have the X1c Patch installed to download X1 Expanded.

I've already downloaded the X1d patch a couple of days ago.

Do I now have to rollback to X1c in order to install X1 Expanded?

I wouldn't think so, but you never know in this world of "expanded" ideas.

    Hi, I have this issue too. Bought X1 Producer, updated to X1c and then X1d. Then bought Producer Expanded which won't install. I assume I somehow need to downgrade back to X1c, install Expanded and then apply (the same?) X1d update...but I'm not sure how to effect the downgrade? Can anyone advise, please? Cheers, A

    Just did this last night.  I had Sonar X1D installed, and was able to install a fresh download of Expanded on top of it.  However, I THEN needed to reinstall the D update for Expanded.  So far I believe everything installed correctly.

    That's interesting...I just bought the Producer Expanded and downloaded it this morning, and it wouldn't install over my X1d. Any ideas why this would be the case? Is it possible that, even though it was downloaded this morning, I somehow have the 'wrong' (ie. a non-updated) version of Producer Expanded? I only installed X1 yesterday, I'm a new Sonar user, so apologies if I'm missing something obvious.

    I actually don't know why you might be having a problem.  Unfortunately, I have exactly 1 installation worth of experience, and it was from last night.  It might have something to do with the fact that I actually purchased everything a couple of months ago, so maybe my version of Expanded is old?  I doubt that, however.

    The good news is that the rollback is pretty easy.  There are instructions in the detailed installation PDF: http://www.cakewalk.com/s...013277?DL=Instructions

    Took me about 3 minutes total to rollback for my initial D update (before I realized I hadn't installed Expaned).
