Bonnie Raitt's latest album "Slipstream" I must say, I am glad I bought this one.

A track I'm working on.....over and over and over again... Other than that Mick Ronson's 'Just like this' is currently getting most plays just now.

This morning it is a combination of Audrey's synth playing, Spring's clicking at the window with the Robin's nest on the other side and the songs of Cardinals, Robins, American Gold Finches, and Jays....

Jonbouy - I am also listening way too much to a song I am ready to send to Bapu for bass. I drive 60 miles a day to work (30 miles each way) and have this song looping from my iPhone. Seems like I keep hearing new things to check all the time! I did listen to Bonnie's new album online and it sounds great. I have also been checking out a lot of the newer pop bands on the charts to keep current (LOL). I am also looking for that one or two songs that I can use as a reference. I posted a thread about this months ago. Haven't found that most special song yet. Rimshot

The Kate Bush talk of yesterday, as well as me starting Graeme Thomson's "Under the Ivy" has me listening to Kate's "Hounds of Love" this morning. For me it's one of those perfect albums, front side to back.

I are listening to nothing musical right now . Trying to find my true inner self. I am listening to loud annoying mechanical noise not by choice. I guess maybe I'm listening to some industrial. Oh...and your bases are belong to us.

Hi, Several things. Just got my new turntable ... massively awesome Stanton ... finally! First thing I put on? Tomita - The Firebird Suite ... had to get my ears blown off again! Next was: Bob Weir - Looks Like Rain from his first solo album. I have always loved this piece and it has an absolutely magicakl guitar work by Jerry. One member in the board knows what I played next, but it can not be mentioned here ... it's illegal and Bapu has not given it permission! After that ... I have in order of play ... sort of: Roger Chapman - Hyenas Only Laugh for Fun (Not Bapu or Mooch!). Massive guitar album by the Family members. Under appreciated album, and I guess not many folks can handle Chili Con Carne or many other gems! Take Your Partners! Garry Moore Band - His first solo album. Gonna MP3 "Spirit" which is the greatest and best and most insane guitar solo I have ever heard! 200 Motels - I only have the LP's. And I love this movie and think it is a real fun trip ... and I gotta hear that song ... Bapu Dental Hygiene, and Bapu Dimention, and Bapu Mystery Roach, and Bapu Donovan .... just can't help it ... and it's gonna be LOUD. Golden Earring - Switch. Love the opening of that album and there are good things in there, but the album was ignored and not enjoyed as much, because it didn't have a "hit". The Doors - LA Woman -- Gotta get rid of that LP! Chicago 2 - Gotta get rid of that LP!

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... helps you find something ... and you and I and all of us hope that you are clever enough to find out what that is ... someday, before you die! My Webpages

I found a copy of Paul Simon's most recent "So Beautiful or So What" at the library so I thought I'd give it a listen. He lost me with "You're The One" and I haven't heard the two albums after that but I'm really liking this new album! What a great piece of work from a 70 year old.

Over the last few days I went through all of Riverside's CD's (you Prog boys should know them well), then through about a dozen Genesis CD's, some Radioactive Sandwich, Phutureprimitive and now some live Trance mixes. Oh yeah, slipped a Foghat CD in tonight before the electronic stuff.
