LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO GIVE ME A FEW LESSONS!!

I have Sonic X1 and I have a Roland Br-1600 .... am having trouble importing and exporting.  I wold love to sit with someone who understands this duo.... give me the basics....
I live in Toronto... altho I suppose we could do it by Skype.
Will pay for the lesson(s), give me a fair price.

Just because I like trouble shooting - I took a look at a manual for the BR 1600. It looks like you can export wav files to a CDR/RW. From that newly written CDR - Select the first track in Sonar as an "Audio" track and import those audio files from the Edit Menu in Sonar.

If you haven't imported audio to Sonar as of yet - it is fairly simple. Select your wav files from the CD -  you can select them all at once. Sonar will build all the audio tracks for you. At that point, you will have the raw tracks to mix and edit in Sonar. Of course you will want to save the Project in its' own folder on the computer.

You could also open the cd files in windows explorer and drag and drop the files on top of Sonar and they will self populate. Make sure you drop them at the time cursor position you want if you drop them within the timeline. Of course you can always move them later. Or, on a new project, if you drag your files and drop them in the black open space area under a track, they will create themselves with a starting point of 1:01:000.
If need more detail, let me know.

Really like you sound Tim! "Never let you go" was a standout. Well done!

    I use the BR800
You should be able to export wavs with the Free BR wave converter.
