This may be a bit beyond where your at recording wise,
But if you re-amp..........an audo track.................basically send audio out of the box for processing then bring it back in.
Depending on your DAW software and how your set up, your gonna want to run a loop back test on that signal.
Basically calculate the round trip latency on that signal chain.
Then you can nudge the audio back to a place of being somewhat sample accurate.
It may or may not matter to you that much, just thowing it out there
