how many girls you score usually after the gig?

I have found that a keytar is a great way to remain celibate

Why are you waiting til "after the gig".

Try to get started while every one is still dancing.

Get your self a long cord for that keytar and get out there on the dance floor.

there is a BIG raging debate upstairs on scoring,,, and notation, and "staff view"... ohhh thats not the scoring he is talking about.......never mind.....

I used to score them all the time from the stage.....often engaging in conversations during songs and drum solos with the other band members..... it went something like this:

"Hey that one is an 8" 
"no... I'd give her an 8.5"
"wait.... there's a 9 over there ..... wonder if the 4 is with her...?"
"I hope not.... hey... there's another 8 on the back corner of the dance floor...." 
" yep... got her"

It's great Off!And YES, It's the reason I play! I get them to follow me home then I have them clean my house make the beds. And then there's the ones you meet on break. I have them do my(pay bills) finances and then there's the ones you meet before the gigs and I have them come over and be bartender for me and my friends. By the end of the night after scoping out all the best chicks then you have to pick a couple(since I Am getting a little older I prefer no more than 3) to satisfy all my needs in the bedroom, hot tub, lawn, kitchen table and or attic!  It's great Off! 

If by "score" you mean go him with The Lovely Lady (who was at the gig with me), then 100%.

The last thing I gigged was a bullfrog so ... you figure it out.

I feel your pain...it could be worse, you could be me....I usually get my pick of any dude in the audience....darn guitar players! You gotta be the singer to get the girls...so I tried my hand at that...no change. I've accepted that though I'm completely straight, I'm a dude magnet. :( It's ok though...I'd rather have a bunch of dudes in the audience than none at all.
 
Sike, I'm sort of kidding. I get as much of the ladies checking out the show as I do the guys. If I wasn't careful and so against the whole "go for groupies" thing, I'd probably be a walking disease. If ya wanna get chicks, get into body-building and look like a mens catelog model...you don't have to be big, just ripped up and toned. You won't even need a guitar. :) Just keep in mind...guitar is primarlily a dude instrument. Though chics play and love it, the better you play guitar, the more it attracts the guys. If you are a good looking dude that is also an entertainer, then you got a better shot at landing a few chics.
 
If you REALLY wanna land chics though...especially the young ones, don't take a shower, don't wash or style your hair, and get tats and piercings all over and you'll be the pied piper. :)

LOL Mike, keep me around...I'll keep em all away from everyone! I'm tellin ya, I'm the pied piper for dudes! Hahahaha! Nah, I actually know why that is....I'm the way I am in person the same as I am on here. There's still quite an audience for the guitar style I play and the guys that are into that are always tone searching or copping new riffs etc. So when they come up to me and ask about stuff, it's like a Sonar forum post. I share as much as I can and the next thing you know, I made another cool friend. I love talking guitar shop and helping with effects, techniques and stuff. So I attract the guys that would be into players like Steve Vai, EVH, and most of the really cool 80's players that still sort of have a following today.

Now if they start hitting on me, then we got a problem. LOL!! I thought it was the hair at first too Craig...especially when I hit on a few chics and their response was "how can I bring you home to my parents....you got better hair than I do for cryin' out loud!" The truth is, I had a better butt than they did and they just couldn't handle it. Lunges brother! LOL! :-Þ

The last band I was in was a house band gig that lasted two and a half years.  Same place, same songs, same people for 2.5 years every Friday & Saturday night (with a few weekends off to keep us from going totally crazy) ... good money though. So we endured and made the best of it and had a good time hanging out and playing music.

The crowd of regulars was there every weekend.  We even gave that gig a name. 

we called it the: "TURN YOUR HOGS OUT TOUR"   

You had to be there to see the ladies...then the name would make perfect sense. Ladies might not be the exact word to use but it will suffice for now.

(And I'm completely kidding since I'm sure you could blow me away on guitar, but the joke was just kinda sitting there baiting someone to jump on it - and I can resist anything but temptation! )

I did that too Rbh. At one concert my family got up before the intermission and walked out. My sister said later everyone was playing so fast she couldn't tell what song it was. I found if you really want to loose a crowd just play bebop!

Naw... the playing was good.I had better luck scoring during private rehearsal parties though. Never once on a gig. I even signed auto graphs for the nerdy types at gigs. Yea... that Progressive insurance lady has a sort of sexy Betty Rubble thing going for her !
