RESOLVED: Armed Tracks Crash X2 with Voxformer in the Fx-Bin

Take lanes don't help.

I suppose I should report the bug somewhere.
Voxengo Voxformer 64bit (in the effects bin) ... will (predictably) freeze X2 if a track with Voxformer is 'armed' (red-light enabled ... for recordings).

The work-around seems to be:

Just avoid arming any track that contains Voxformer in the fx-bin ... and Sonar shouldn't crash.

(I don't know how the other Voxengo plugins are negatively effected by X2 armed tracks ... but would be curious to know)

Check to see if you are running the latest soundcard drivers and firmware. Arming directly interacts with your card or I/O interface or whatever. Also try changing the settings "Allow Arm changes during playback/record" to see if this makes a difference.

Thanks Alex,

Your thoughts are extraordinary!
1) I'll check my Roland Octa-capture drivers
2) And Settings for Allow Arm changes

Blessings!

Hah!  I updated the Octa-capture system from 1.50 to 1.51 firmware!  And I haven't been able to crash it.

I'll write "resolved" (for now)!

Utmost Blessings Alex!
