Kinda odd to me it's doing a full DPro install, altho it said update. updating Plat now.. All done, rather painless, and I'm now on Sonar Platinum Foxboro Shark Week edition...... That's what it says!

It has a min update interval feature that is set to 24 hours by default. Is that an auto update?
What does Verbose install do? I mean really does it install something, because if it installs something I want to know. Does it add stuff I don't want or need? What does it install?
Seriously, it looks like the CCC is headed in the right direction.

THe 24 hour thing is how often it does a rescan for new updates. It won't install anything without your input. verbose should tell you everything it's doing. Since you said seriously at the end.....nevermind

How do you get the download? My CCC just says downloading but the percentage meter just says 0! Also it says I am not logged in. I got the new version of Platinum and Kick Start but can not get the new version of CCC! Whazzup?

Mine acted the same way, just sat there at 0% download and not logged in. I just left it alone for about 10 minutes and it downloaded and installed. Just very slow i guess Dan

The new Dimension Pro installer is wacked if you're not installing in the default location.
Won't let you specify where the Multisamples are stored - tries to outsmart you and screws it up royal.
Won't let put it in ...\DimensionProData\Multisamples
insists on either ...\DimensionProDataMultisamples
or ...\DimensionProData\MultisamplesMultisamples
Should have skipped this update.

Thanks for the alert on DimPro update. It scared me when I read that the new CCC was updating DimPro and I had a scary time hacking the registry to get a DimPro installation ironed out. I am not touching AD2, Melodyne, Rapture or DimPro unless absolutely necessary!

I really really hate how this installs. On one computer CC won't even open up after update and on other computer everything just installed wherever it wanted. I appreciate that the new system can be used to apply quick patches, but it also means you have a lot more chances each year to totally muck up your installation.
