P5 at NAMM

HA! made you look!

Actually... it starts tomorrow (Jan. 20). I wonder who will be the first to post all the info about the new improvements in P5?

Gentlemen... start your keyboards!

Either one is better than what we have today, which is a whole lot of neither one.

please note the large notice 'Trade Only Not Open to the Public'

is it NAMM or the T-shirts that are confusing?

the exact origins of the T-shirt controversy is lost in history
but basically Project 5 lacks logo wear
if they did exist (as rumored) it was very limited run and distribution

    ORIGINAL: A Random Cakewalk Representative

Ladies and gentlemen of NAMM, we would like to make a very important announcement regarding Project5. Unfortunately, we wanted to be wearing our Project5 T-Shirts when we made the announcement, so please bear with us until we are able to locate them.

    Later in the day...

ORIGINAL: The Same Random Cakewalk Representative

We're terribly sorry. There are no Project5 T-Shirts. Please enjoy the remainder of the show.

    Sacrilege! Heresy!

Chad, once you've been here a while longer, you'll come to understand the depth of our quest for the grail that is the P5 t-shirt. There is nothing else at NAMM (if you conveniently ignore the heavy consumption of alcohol). Follow the t-shirts (as Wrench has said), and all else will be revealed ...

Also, simply buying a t-shirt is unacceptable; the secret is in the schwag ...

For all the NAMM announcements check out: http://namm.harmony-central.com/WNAMM05/

Lots of great coverage of the show. There's already a bunch of stuff up there including some new Edirol controllers that have the same keyboard beds as the Phantom. I can't wait to get one :)

An annoucement as huge as the T-Shirt availability deserves it's own show; perhaps Summer NAMM 2005. Cakewalk needed to get the piddly stuff out of the way for this NAMM. <g>

    really, too true.

the Tracktioneers at kvr were on needles and pins all day 'cause Mackie decided to prolong the drama and wait till the late afternoon to make their T2 announcement. maybe waiting for things to calm down a bit

but those Tracktioneers have nothing on this cadre of P5 T-shirt zealots

now we have to check the after hours snaps and candid report weblogs to see if we can spot a P5 T-shirt
