Hard head newbie

Got your e-mail and went back over the material but still no sound!
Now i'm not new with windows programs. this program is well layed out but like anything else sometimes you cant see the trees from the forest! just help me get over the hump please!
I have a sound card and since i taken a.cda and turned into a.wav file.
