Users Forum - Pittsburgh

In speaking with friend, mentor, and all-around sound design genius Don Maue, I was asked if I would like to get involved with a Sonar Users group or forum located in the Pittsburgh area. Man...I'm all for it. If there are others in the Pittsburgh area who are Sonar insatiable, we should meet. I'm new to this forum but my interest is piqued. Are there others out there? Could we meet and yap Sonar stuff?

    Tim, please respond to Don's post. He seems like he's got a great set up. I would like to see more users groups pop up. I know that they have them on the left coast and they are doing well.

    I'm sure that there are more users in the area than Don and yourself.

    I'd like to meet this genius, Maybe he's left the Sonar forum for the Mensa forum - (just kidding!) anyway. There is a running post that I started regarding a Western PA UG and the only guys that replied were from the midwest and England - I guess they heard we might have doughnuts and didn't mind the commute.

    Man this is an old thread.... Tim we are hosting an HD Surround training for recording and Broadcast on Thursday October 13th 6-9 PM - it's open to all Sound Folks and Sonar Users. You've got my email - just contact me and I 'll get you details.
