    Holy Sh!t!

    Medic! I've been hit!

Edit: Luckily, I had just enough strength left to order two Men's Large. And, yes, they do also come in Extra-Large ...
I'm not sure if this is actually just a dream sequence. I'm not used to being around here while it's still daylight hours. First the new version, and now this. What a birthday present!

This is great news and bad news.

Great news is that the top item in the b***h list is gone.

Bad news is that the MIDI out thing is now higher in the list

Hey Tom - I forgot! Happy Birthday! Cakewalk have been kind to you, indeed.

I'm still in shock at this news. Two such staggering releases in one day. The bakers have really outdone themselves this time. Can anyone tell me if the t-shirt comes with a printed manual and MIDI out?

    Edit:

So the t-shirt doesn't have MIDI out? What kind of a t-shirt is that!?

I have mixed feelings about this. The rant has been going on so long now that it leaves a void. Some of the 'mystique' is now gone forever. I guess that we'll actually have to talk about the software now, instead of formal evening wear. <g>

No manual, but I'm planning a tutorial series on how to apply the t-shirt to your back, especially geared towards all of the snappy dressers in the group. That is, if I can stop my hands from shaking long enough to reproduce the procedures here. Doesn't this whole thing have an unreal quality surrounding it?

Well I'll be ... P5v2 shipping and T-shirts on the same day ... (blink, blink) ... did the earth just tilt? ...

Everyone's going to have to post pictures of themselves wearing the shirt.

I must say, the Cakewalk P5 folks really do seem to be quite a responsive crew. I just wanted to commend them on that. This is definitely one of the best forums out there. Cheers to you all. I'd really love to talk more, but I've got a T-shirt to order ...

To think, at one time P5 was a $429 MSRP app.

Now we can beg for P5v2 foot-warming slippers! P5 can have a clothing line rivaling the GAP. Commercials can go to the effect of "I'm too groovy for my shirt...too groovy..." (avoiding copywright infringement or course...)

just in time for my wife's birthday present
might be the most romantic thing I've ever done for her
one look at that shirt and I'll just get all dreamy-eyed

    it is a mixed blessing

but what about ball caps and hooded sweatshirts and coffee mugs?
    nevermind all that
just bask in the shipping race between T-shirt and P5 v2 box.

2 wonders some of us doubted we'd ever see

I think I might order 7 one for each day of the week. I still think you should have offered different colors.......but thats ok.

I think Cake is going to make more money off this t-shirt then V2 and sonar combined.

Cool shirts, a shame the shipping cost is half the price of the shirt...caused me to back out of my purchase for now. I mean, I can get three outfits for $24.00 at Target.

As for midi out, the plug-in "midi out" is good enough for me.

Technically, it did, but only with an eye towards the calendar. In a physical sense, I'm comparing it to the .mp3 plugin. If you want it, you pay extra. If you don't: well, perhaps it's time to sit down and re-evaluate your life's dirction, and try to determine just where your priorites got all screwed up. <g>

In a metaphysical sense, I can't really put that into a linear language format, and perhaps that's for the best. Nirvana just doesn't translate well into the spoken word. One can only attempt to compare this to some real-life situation which will inevitably fall short. Something like finding the Holy Grail, or receiving the Medal of Honor (or attaining knighthood), or discovering the composition of dark matter, or sleeping with a mute Jessica Simpson comes to mind, but those trivial events pale in comparison.

BTW: If you're ordering multiple t-shirts, do it in one shot, and save on the shipping charges. I can't believe that they're still only charging me $8.95 to ship 1000 t-shirts to a god-forsaken swamp.
    This means my 2 Project 5 V. 1 t-shirts are WORTHLESS NOW!!!
Edit: No, Chris: I'd assume that they'd be quite valuable as collector items. That is, if they were authentic, had the pit stains dry-cleaned, and actually existed anywhere but in Photoshop and your imagination.
