VST 4.5.1 Problem - November 29, 05 10:01 PM ( #1 )
This was originally posted on the VST Adapter forum but it's not getting many hits so I hope it's okay to cross-post here.
The problem is this - everytime I rescan my vst plugs with 4.5.1 I have to go to Properties for each plug and re-enable it. This was not a problem before installing the patch. Anyone else have this problem? Am I not doing something right?

Are you running SONAR 4.04? Check the folder defaults settings in the VST wizard.
You probably have the default set to disable plugins. So when you rescan all new plugins are disabled by default if so. If its set to disabled, just toggle this setting in the defaults and this should stop happening.

Great - the reason you had the "problem" is that the folder defaults enable parameter really works now in 4.5.1 :-) In earlier versions it was ignored.
