I love the little organ washes - nice touch.  Well balanced orchestration, great playing, writing, the whole shebang.  Over my head musically, so I can't really say too much other than the production was great.  My wife liked it hearing it from the kitchen, too.  I keep telling her the P5 crowd just don't do the techno/industrial thing - maybe now she'll believe me.

Ah, Wrench, I do the cooking.  If you ever tasted my wife's cooking, you'd understand.  But the kitchen is great for checking vocals and leads - if you can hear them they are OK.  Doesn't really apply to this song, but it still sounds good.  Everything is as clear as a bell, tho you didn't use one (not even cowbell!  Thank god.).

     I get what you mean
the audio store I go to every few years has 2 'halls'  for demo'ing systems on either side of a central room for reception etc
those systems sound incredibly clear in the central room  -- nothing gets muddled

Wrench, sorry, this sounds like mismatched off-key patches vying for sonic space. Is something wrong with the playback?

there's a certain amount of smearing thanks to some grain machine work.
I assure you it's intentional and completely under control (more or less)
it's not all that up front and tends to clear as the piece progresses

some relate to it more than others
