tracks hiding under other tracks

hi everyone. i have a quick question,..i want to copy paste a section of my song but some of the tracks are hiding under the tracks i highlighted but the problem is i cant select them because they are exactly the same length as every other one if that makes sense. so what ends up happening is once i paste it again it only plays my drums and some other instruments but im missing some of my square wave melody because i cant get it selected..i was wondering if there is a way i can get those hidden tracks to come out. thanks

    If you have Sonar 4 or 5, try enabling the track layer view... (the button next to the minimize button on each track.)

    If not, you can use slip editing to peel back one track, move the track underneath to a new track, then slip edit the original track on top back to the way it was.

    i only see maximize strip no track layer view...im using sonar 4.

    If you right click on a track, does a "Show Layers" option show up near the bottom of your right-click menu? This will also show layers on tracks.

    ... or select the track then from the main menu choose Track, Show Layers.
