transfering .cab files

Hi, I'm new to sonar. I'm using sonar 7 home. I'm trying to transfer a . cab file to another computer that also runs sonar 7 home. when we try to open the .cab file the audio is fine but the loops (drums and such) are all jumbled up. Thanks for any help you can give.

cab files are compressed system type files.  are you sure you're talking about cab files?

cwb files are the cakewalk bundle files.  if you're trying to move one of those to a different system, and it's not working, and you say the drum loops are jumbled, what are you using for those?  are they audio loops?  or MIDI?

Thanks Beagle, yes I'm talking about bundle files. I understand that is the way to move a project from one computer to another. the drum loops are audio loops that come with sonar 7 home, I draged them to their own track. thanks again for any help. Im thinking Its some sort of difference in the computers settings or sound card.

you're likely on the right track.  my guess would be a mismatch between sampling rates.  the project was probably set up at a sampling rate of 48k and the receiving computer can't do that sampling rate and defaulted to 44.1k.

or some combination of something like that.  check the sampling rate on the receiving computer.

what soundcards are involved with each system?

Thanks again, you were right it was the sampling rate. Works fine now.
