transform tool appears in an arbitrary and often useless location [RESOLVED]

The transform tool first appears in a default size and location. When there is a selection made, it would be handy if it appeared exactly over the selection.

Just a thought!
Thanks
=)

Have you tried enabling "Auto-focus" in the Transform Tool context menu?
The Transform tool surrounds events associated with selected notes when Auto-focus is enabled on my system.

    Hope this helps,
