transpose - retranspose -

didn't see a thread on this; when I transpose in X2, then want to transpose more (or less) all I get is an undo transpose option and then a redo transpose option and it toggles between those two - but it won't let me modify the original transposition or do a new one or ignore the previous transposition - is there a command to allow a new transposition without undoing or redoing the previous transposition?  Didn't have this problem before X2 - thanks for help.

I don't fully understand the issue. Undo/Redo is under the Edit menu. Transpose is under the Process menu. You can select Process > Transpose as many times as you want, and transpositions will be cumulative. But you'll have to keep track of where you started if you eventually want to revert. I don't think this was any different in earlier versions, except that a long time ago some Process functions were under Edit, and Transpose may have been one of them. Is that maybe what this is about?

yeah that seems to be right, I must have gone to the edit menu after process and confused them, feel rather dumb, it's all this snow - thanks for the help.

Snow... Yeah, I remember when it used to do that around here. Now we're wearing flip flops in February. Hmmm... think I hear a song title.
