trouble with file conversion

I'm having serious trouble figuring out how to convert my projects to .mp3 or .wav format. The program will let me open the export window but when, but I can only get as far as selecting what file type I would like to convert it to. When I try and locate my project on my computer, .cwp files do not appear as selectable files to convert. I run windows 7 and I would really like to be able to convert my files to something that can be put on a CD or mp3 player.

Does Cakewalk only allow for individual tracks to be converted/exported? Any ideas or thoughts?

no, not individual tracks (unless that's what you want to convert) but the whole project.  but you don't need to find the project from the export window - you're exporting the project that's already LOADED in MC.  the only thing you need to do is chose a file name for the WAVE EXPORT (and make sure your settings are 16bit/44.1kHz for CD standard export wave).
