try to insert clip and other clips on the track jump back or forth.

hello

I am creating a drum track in MC 5, and when i try to insert or copy a clip  onto the same track , the clips already on the track

 jump (move)  back or forth, and i cant keep them together.

How can i join the clips together without having them move around?

    Do they actually move or just look like they moved? Do they sound 'off'?
    Right-click a clip, select Properties and note the start time of the clip. Then paste in a new clip and check the properties of the first clip again. If the start time is the same, it didn't move despite what your eyes tell you.
    And in the Paste and Drag and Drop, options, there are check boxes for Blend Old and New, Replace Old With New and Slide Over to Make Room. Maybe the Slide Over to Make Room box is checked.
