uTonic Reproducible Incompatibility with Quantize Audition?

It seems that I can quantize drums that I program with uTonic, however I cannot audition the changes before I apply them or Sonar will crash everytime.  I can live with this limitation, however can anyone else brave enough verify this behavior?

I am eagerly awaiting the 64 bit uTonic update that is mentioned on their website.

For what it is worth I tried jbridge for uTonic and have switched back to Bitbridge.  Does anyone have any advice about using uTonic with Sonar in its current state?

    Phonic,

I just started to use uTonic (MicroTonic).

I start by step programming the beat, then drag out the midi file (bottom left) into X1's uTonic soft synt midi track, adjust the length to the nearest bar, and make it a groove clip.

Then proceed to edit another drums pattern using the same program sound. This way, I can build as many pattern as required, and I do not use the uTonic pattern link or program change feature.

Can you describe how you go about to quantize uTonic drums ?

I play the uTonic via my midi keyboard onto a standard Sonar midi track (using uTonic as a sound module).  It is when I use Sonar's quantize function to quantize this midi data then select "audition" that Sonar crashes everytime.

I just tried to 'audition' (within Quantize menu) my track on the midi grove clip. It runs without any problem.

I would suggest you to try this - do not audition, but just go ahead and quantize it, then open the piano roll view to inspect what might went wrong. Play the already quantized track, and see if it's ok.

Not sure overlapped notes may cause the crash.
