ua-25 ex 96 khz help

I use the ua-25 ex, sonarx1 producer, the question is:
that when recording to 96khz no sound.
96P in normal play but not record.
96R recorded in but then not play my EZdrummer vst like.
these vst not prepared to run in 96khz? or is my configuration in the daw.
now work at 48khz, but I would like to make 96 khz few reach the highest qualitywhich gives me the interface.

or do I have to constantly move the knob to move from mind to 96p 96r

I do not understand please help. Thank you.
pd:sorry for the english es google traslator i speak spanish.

uso el ua-25 ex, en sonarx1 producer, la pregunta es:
por que cuando grabo a 96khz no hay sonido.
en 96P reproduce normal pero no graba.

    Hello,

Unfortunately, this interface cannot record and play in 96 KHz at the same time.

Here's some information from page 36 of the most recent version of the UA-25EX manual :
    http://lib.roland.co.jp/support/en/manuals/res/1833294/UA-25EXCW_e2.pdf

" If you change the UA-25EX’s sample rate, you must disconnect the USB cable that connects the
UA-25EX to your computer, and then reconnect the USB cable in order for the new setting to take
    effect.

    * If you want to record at 96 kHz, you must set this switch to “96R” (record). "

So, you unplug the interface, set to 96R, replug the interface, record, unplug, set to 96P, replug and listen. Add salt and pepper if needed.

    Cheers,

    one question
is very noticeable difference between 48 khz and 96khz? I need a specific answer on the subject of audio work
I know that is audibly imperseptible

I dreamed of working at 96khz

There are plenty of info - and debates - about sampling rates. Some say 96KHz improves the signal-to-noise ratio, gives a better representation of of high frequency sounds. but one thing is sure: 96KHz files take more hard drive space than 44.1KHz files.

If you want to record in 96KHz, I don't see what could be the problem. You do a recording session in 96R, then unplug, switch back to 96P and replug to listen to it - it takes 10 seconds.

An alternative to the unplug-switch-plug would be to get a dedicated digital to analog converter that would take take of the sound playback on your computer.

If your music will be offer in audiophile format, the higher bitrate and sampling rate the better. But keep in mind that the sound on a CD is 16-bit/44,1KHz.

    Cheers
