un silly thread... What are you reading?
I just finished another Lamour novel (I love Louis) and am now reading a good book about the Allied invasion of North Africa. It is amazing that we even made it ashore... It is An Army At Dawn: The War in North Africa 1942-1943 by Rick Atkinson. Am also reading a Familiar Exposition of the Constitution by Justice Joseph A. Story, it is interesting and easy reading for an early 19th century book. Lot of other books partly read... Oh, and Mark Levin's The Liberty Ammendments, I am over halfway through it but needed a break. this war book is interesting and well written. Anyway... reading anything good? J

Nothing as historical as yourself. I'm reading the Mortal Instruments series. My wife and I saw the movie a couple of weeks ago and I got interested in the series. I'm into the 3rd book now.

"Diary of a Crap Artist" by Philip Dick. It started out with the old hiss and a roar but seems to be tapering off a bit.

I finished Kissinger's Diplomacy a couple weeks ago. Then I breezed through Sputnik, the shock of the century and then iWoz which is Steve Wozniaks memoir. I am starting Malcom Gladwell's Tipping Point tonight. I have Ray Kurzweil's How to Create a Mind, the Secret to Human Thought Revealed waiting and ready for our upcoming trip to Maine. best regards, mike

I'm reading one of Bill O'Reilly's books about Lincoln's Last Days. I already read Killing Lincoln, and this is just a supplement to that one. Very good read.

If I have, it's only by accident. And I haven't been reading anything lately 'cause what little free time I have has been spent on a (temporary) Sudoku addiction. Heh...

Eric Rücker Eddison's 1922 fantasy novel "The Worm Ouroboros". Or at least re-reading selected parts as it forms the basis of my ongoing (and often not going) music project.

...and oddly enough this thread makes me think of a shooting incindent at a russian grocery store a few days back. Two guys started arguing about the theories of philosopher Immanuel Kant. The argument ended with the other guy shooting the opponent several times....with RUBBER BULLETS. I guess the cashier was playing chess... I read very little nowadays. I used to love historical novels and anything connected with cultures less known. Most of what I've read in the past years is biographies.

I read that a few months ago in a different universe. It was very good, though a little confusing as I hadn't read Reality Challenged at the time. You'll especially like the bit where.. WHAAA NOOO GET OFF MEEEE.. OK OK I won't say what happens.. In other news, I've mostly been reading the FSF. You should try page 48...

Hi, Not reading a whole lot lately ... though I picked up the latest Bass Player Magazine for kicks ... I was actually thinking of reading something completely different that is quite often funnier than a lot of jokes here ... though at least here, folks can ignore you real good! The hursery rhymes in "The Pearl" are magnificent reading!

I haven't read a novel for a long time. My last reading bout was months ago when I read a bunch of P.G. Wodehouse. The problem is that I find Wodehouse so funny (especially the Blandings Castle stories) that I just can't face reading anything else for a long time.

Hi, Not reading anything actually ... been re-reading and cleaning up my novel, and finding a few sentences or this or that which could use some clean up ... have not been in the mood for "reading" when one is tied up with one's own work. Too distracting. Specially the Coffee House!
