undue shortcut

quick easy question; I'm sure: What is a shortcut for undue? I have been clicking Edit, moving curser, and clicking undue. I use this a lot. Can I place "undue" in the open or just hit one key?

thanks!

The Beep-man is right: the default shortcut for UNDO is Ctrl+Z. But you can change shortcuts to be whatever you want them to be (although you will have to delete or change some of the default settings to avoid conflicts, most likely).
Go to Edit > Preferences > Customization > Keyboard Shortcuts... and have a bottle of Excedrin nearby.

Ctrl + Z is the default global Windows shortcut for 'Undo' so why would anyone change it within SONAR

And I think Redo is Ctrl + Shift + Z. And don't feel bad. On my last DAW I didn't figure out the undo key binding until after AGES of doing it how you were. It was heaven sent.

I've got one those fancy mouses that has programmable side keys.  It's great with Sonar!

I have thumb buttons set to ctrl & shift and clicking the wheel is set to undo.  The ergonomics of my workflow got so much better once I set that up.  Pretty cheap too.

You can even make it easier by keybind just one key. this way you don't have to press 2 different keys.

@CJay... I'm such a bumble thumbs on the keyboard, especially with a guitar in my hands, that I prefer the two key method. Prevents little accidents from happening. The three key method is annoying enough to change though.

Hey, CJay... I wanted to thank you for turning me onto the Axiom stuff. As I said I don't think your big one will fit in my set up just yet but I think I've settled on saving up for an extra month and buying an Axiom 25 Advanced. They're going for under $200 up here and I think I'd like to have the extra controls (as opposed to the Oxygen 25). Just as long as the keys are full size I think it's gonna work out quite nicely. I might actually finally be able to use Sonar's ACT function properly for once too. lol Cheers!
