upgrading

If my account is closed will I still be able to go on the upgrade path without logging into these forums?

I guess none of you have tried it? Im a profesional and I do not need to ask questions on how to work a particular product as I know everything that I need to know and it seems a bit unmanly to be asking other people when I can work it out myself....

Thank you

Your Cakewalk store account is seperate from your forum account.

However, I don't think you can 'close' your forum account, but you can choose to not use it if you don't want to.

Dispite how proffesional you are or how much you think you know about recording/producing music there will always be times with new software versions when you just stare at the screen thinking "WTF have they done this time? How the hell do I ..........   It was so easy before.  Why won't DimPro3 install?  where's V-Vocal gone?"

You could spend a few hours of your expensive time working out the answers yourself and arriving at your own workarounds that are fives times more complex that they need be,  or you could post the question to the forum and get 20 silly responces + 5 flames for being stupid + the perfect answer which saves you hours of work and makes you look like a genius to your clients.

    Just saying...

I was born with a computer in my hands and after doing computer programming and learning alot  of the technics myself, I feel quite comfy with technology, but I can see the benefits in having a community. Only if the community was in my locality only I would deem that as being the best thing for us.

I take into account that not all can be of a heavenly mind we have to deal with saints and sinners.

Karyn's right.  the e-store account doesn't have to be the same email address as your forum account and so it's separate.  and she's right you can't "close" your forum account, but you can get it permanently banned if you try hard enough...

I find my forum account far more inflated important than my cakewalk store account (on a daily basis).

    I'm a cakewalk forum professional.
