using dxi in kinetic

i know that it's possible to route dXi synths through kinetic via a backdoor method of saving a patch file in p5, as fac described earlier in the forum (thanks fac for the great instructions), but i have a small problem in that i do not own p5, but rather, home studio. is it possible to pull this same procedure in hs? i love the midi sequencing tools in kinetic, but i really want to play absynth sounds using these tools. is this possible without p5, or am i out of luck?

thanks in advance,
hansi

    Unfortunately, only P5 is capable of generating patch files. However, I'm pretty sure some P5 users own Absynth, so why don't you ask people on the P5 forum to send you a patch using Absynth? I'm sure someone will be glad to help you out.

    i forgot to ask before; fac, i understand from your previous posts that you have kinetic dxi patches for sfz and triangle. could you possibly e-mail those to me at kammeyjd@yahoo.com? it would be much appreciated.

    btw: also, checked out your (fac) music yesterday. it really blew my mind--you are very creative! i thought kinetic was just for genre dance music. guess i was very wrong.

    Hi Guys,

    If I may offer my 2 cents:

    In order to have universal patch for VSTi inside Kinetik - I've created patch that contain XLUTOP.CHAINER.

    Now i can open any VSTi plugin or even stack of them insisde Kinetik withou the need to create patches for each VST instrumwent/effect.

    the setings get saved with the Kinetik and I didnt experiance any annoying latency etc

    If you are interested and you already have XLUTOP.CHAINER installed - let me know, I'll post the PAtch or send you an E-mail

    cheers

    toyaga,

    Thanks for the tip. I'll give Chainer a try. Could you please send me the patch to shadowfac@hotmail.com ?

    Hey, Hans, did you get the Absynth patch? I have it already.

    no, i didn't get it. i would really love getting the chainer as well. then i could use reaktor and be completely unburdened by traditional midi for drums.

    since you sent me those other patches i've been working almost exclusively with kinetic. what a little gem it is. such a nice live feeling.

    I don't know how to get the chainer and I am running my kinetic tracks to Nuendo which has kontakt in it for my samples. If what you say is true (which I'm SURE it is) it would help me alot to run my samples in Kinetic via this method. PLEASE, PLEASE HELPPPPPPP! My email is:( jaytothelimit@hotmail.com ) in which I check every day (almost). Please dont forget about me! Thanks
