utilities menu - no clip sent

I added WaveLab 6 to my utilities menu following the instructions on modifying the registry and it works

but...while Wavelab opens it does not show the selected clip from Sonar.  (I am certain I selected it before launching WavLab from the menu)

I am running X1c 64 bit on Win 7 64.  This worked for me on X1b 32 on Win 32

Is there another step to get Cakewalk to "send" the selected clip to the external program?

I don't know if this will work but have you gone to the wavelab exe and right clicked it to get to properties and give it all permissions under security?

can you test with another app (eg, audacity is free) to see if it's wavelab or sonar misbehaving?

Is anyone able to get this to work? 

I can launch WaveLab from the Sonar X1c Utilities menu.  But the highlighted clip does not appear in WaveLab.  This used to work for me in X1b 32bit on Win7-32.  I went to Win7 64 bit and X1c 64 and it no longer works.

I tried Audacity instead of WaveLab and had the same problem.    I tried running both Sonar and WaveLab as "administrator"  Didn't help and no error messages.   From this, I assume it isn't WaveLab that is causing this.
