vertical line on midi track that pops

On my midi tracks in track view,  there is a thin vertical line across all the tracks.  each track has a small rectangular box with a p followed my a number (example p12)   When the score plays, there is a slight blip or pop when it comes to this line in the score.  Not sure what the line or the boxes are or how they got there.   Any ideas?

Thanks,
Michael

Can you give a screen shot of this.

The vertical line in your midi tracks is confusing, as Midi is just data, so this line cant be some sort of an audio artifact, as a midi clip cannot contain that.

Yeah... the only way I can think of to get that vertical line is with Aim Assist, and that won't cause any pops or clicks.

Here is a screen shot.   Thanks for your time.  Michael
Well I'm trying to add a screen show but don't see where I can click to add an attachment when replying?

Is there no way to directly attach a screen shot from the computer with out uploading to something like photo bucket?   This seems odd that one can't just attch. as usual.

TruePianos - those are patch changes, aren't they?

TruePianos, and those are patch changes. I'm not surprised there might be a click with a patch change inserted right at the start of a note. If that was unintentional, go into the Event View, locate the patch changes and press Del.

Okay, thanks.  that's the problem I have unintentional patch changes there.  Don't know why but I'll try to fix them.  True pianos are patches but they are audio output that you can export without bouncing to tracks like you need to to with other virtual instruments.

    thanks.

Such a great and helpful forum here.  I hope one day I know enough so that I can respond to questions and not just ask them!

Erm, you can export most vsti's in Sonar without bouncing.

I don't think I've ever come across one that needs to be bounced prior to exporting a project or part of a project.

The only exception I can think of is something like BFD, but even this can be achieved by using BFD's own online/offline algorithm
