video audio 'trim-in?

Is there a way to "trim- in" an audio clip? or link a video and audio track so the trim-in affects both?

I import a video that has audio, I then 'trim in'  the video to the desired time, the audio track is not linked and I cannot find a way to "trim in" the audio clip to stay synced with the video.

I have found nothing in the "clip properties" to help me with this, am I missing something?  I have been doing this manually and it is rarely frame accurate.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Nope, can't do it. Please fill out a feature request for it.  The more of us that do, the more likely it is that they'll make improvements like this for us video scoring people.

    Thanks Tarsier - done

If you dont mind me asking, how do you (or anyone else) deal with this situation?

Between this and 64 bit codecs I'm thinking that scoring in Sonar is a pain and I should just break down and Sony Vegas or a similiar program to make my life easier.  (For cutting up video to the approprate time frames and exporting to accepted codecs.

    Thanks again

I use Vegas for all my video editing needs. I forget all the various versions, but there's a cut down version that's pretty cheap.

Yeah, the 64 bit Sonar and video scoring situation is pretty dire.
