voice recording problem
hello to everyone.
well, after loosing the microphone, the digital recorder and getting lost in MC3 several times, i finished my recording. i had no problem making the .wav files and burning the CD. According to one of my friends that listened to the CD the voice doesn't sound right.
he said it's overpowering and at times its scratchy.
when i was recording and playing back, the voice sounded wrong on the Sony speakers, but right on the computer's built in speakers. i thought that i had fixed the problems and therefore i published them.
i have a few ideas for when i re-record tomorrow, but i would like some imput as to how can i improve the sound. one thing i'm planning to do is to relocate the microphone, sing while standing and keep the volume on the Lexicon Alpha down. also if on playback the music doesn't sound right then re-record. but is there anything else that i could do? I don't know what other information i'm suppose to provide.
as always thank you for any information you provide.
