vst scanning multiprossesor ?

Now found another problem with the .08 update! When scanning my vst folders the process carries on and scans other random files, eg: generic win process, generic multidirectional process. Any ideas as when it gets to these it keeps going in a loop?
Thanks

Sonar Platinum latest version, Intel quad core 3Ghz processor, 12Gb RAM, Focusrite Saphire sound card. Analogue desk with lots of outboard kit. UAD 1 Card.
Running on Windows 10 Pro x 64bit.

the vst plug in manager will only scan what you set for its path. by default it is your cakewalk 64 bit plug ins folder, your vst3 common files and your vst 2 32 bit folder. you can change these if you added others.
    (set in preferences/vst settings).

Hi, Thanks for your reply. This has only happened since the .08 update. My folders have not changed in the scanning page box and there are only VST scans in there but I still checked just in case so a bit miffed?
