I use it to draw in fades after a mixdown. I've also used it to remove clicks in a track just because it was easier (for this particular track) than doing it in Sonar. It is a decent editor. Dan

How is it as a de-clicker? Do you draw the click out or is it by some other means that you do this? I rarely use a pick, but if I do on acoustic to be more of a percussion or rhythm instrument, I can be careless and click a lot :) Do you have it as a default editor in Sonar or do you export the track and then import it back? Thanks for the info :)

Do you have it as a default editor inside Sonar, if so, is it easy to set up?

I have the Cakewalk mp3 utility and, as well, pyro...I'm curious, does wavosaur let you encode metadata into your mp3s?

Using SONARToolsEditor, any wave editor (among other things) should be pretty easy to add to SONAR. Wavosaur was one of the editors used to test the tool. It can be found in the OP http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3392713It can also be found in the utilities section here

I just draw them out. It isn't installed as the default editor in Sonar, mostly because I don't do that much editing where I need it, but it is 64bit so should work. Dan

FWIW, there is no issue adding 32bit programs to the 64bit SONAR Utilities menu. 32bit Editors work fine from 64bit SONAR.

Thanks guys for the info, I'm going to pick it up just to have it but especially for the clicks. My son uses Rx for his film work but nowadays he lives in Los Angeles and I can't just mosey over and "borrow" it :)

I noticed on the left side of the Wavosaur page that they had a bunch of VST plugins listed, and sure enough, they have a pretty sizable collection of freeware plugins listed, broken down by category, with explanations of each. If you expand the drop-down list on the left side, for VST Plugins, you will see numerous links for the different plugin categories. Pretty cool, Bob Bone

When I saw this thread I wound up getting Wavosaur for use as an integrated audio editor for another DAW that I'm using as a quick down and dirty scratch pad .. This program is actually pretty underrated as far as what it can do the list of what it can do is pretty impressive . Kenny
