I'm not sure about Logic, but I do have Studio One on a PC.
The VS-100 works, but not fully with Studio One. You need to assign the DAW mode to "other", then add it to Studio One as a Mackie Control. The transport works as do some of the buttons on the left side, however they don't work as you might think.
Solo is fine, and mute also works, but does not seem to light up the track in S1. For instance, if you push mute the light comes on at the VS, but the "M" on S1 does not light up. To confuse matters more, the Mute actually does work :) The ARM button doesn't seem to do anything nor does "Loop" or "Marker".
View opens up the Browser Window in S1 and that's about it. I can't seem to get any of the other buttons to do anything. According to the VS Manual, the "|< & >|" button in the transport can be assigned via the software mapping process. Maybe some of the other buttons can as well.
The Fader does seem to work fine.
I also use Sonar X1 and it is flawless there (with the DAW Mode set to "Sonar"), but not great within Studio One. Maybe with some tweaking, but not out of the box.
Don't fix it in the mix ... Fix it in the take!
