Hmm. I'm not really hearing any dramatic clipping. However, it does sound as if you may be pushing the gain a bit on the pickup. Try turning the level down at the guitar to maybe 70% of where it is now.
Granted, the overall volume is a bit soft, but I think you may be trying to compensate for it being too hot right from the start. Or the pickup itself may just be washing out.
Do you have any mics yet?
Recording an acoustic guitar is surprisingly challenging. Don't give up.
Your playing style on the acoustic, much like my own, is fairly aggressive, and can add to that challenge.
