what benefits are there really in grabbing X1 Producer over X1 studio and using vsts?

I am debating on grabbing X1 producer (I'm on studio right now) but it would only be for the FX and I am not sure if that is even the best idea. I can probably get better FX by going 3rd party. I don't need deminsion pro I have Reason for those kinds of sounds and a bigger library of sounds for it than DP offers. I have the full versions of Z3ta and Rapture too. I am not even sure about Session Drummer 3 or what it is besides a multi sampled drum kit. I'd rather get addictive drums though because I know it sounds good. I guess what I am getting at is what advantage does X1 producer offer me personally. I use the following gear Sonar X1 Studio Reason 6 with about 40 gigs of refills Z3ta 2 Rapture Korg M1 Legacy Lounge Lizard Studio Sessions Proteus X 2 Behringer BCF 2000 M Audio Oxygen 49 Propellerheads Balance and a slew of freeware plug ins. I want to make sure I am getting the best quality for my money but I am not sure what the best options for me are in the plug in world. I have been making music for almost 10 years been using Sonar Home Studio since 2005 and have almost always used Reason for most of my musical needs. Now that i am branching out I am seeing a ton of good stuff but not sure what to take on.

I believe the Studio version is limited to 64 tracks?

How many tracks do you predict you'll need?

For me I would be having difficulty with my current project if I was using the Studio version simply because the Producer version doesn't have a track limit (this is limited by the power of your computer etc, of course).

Only recently have I started using so many tracks and I probably could get away with much less, but I have them so I use them.

You are confusing home studio/essentials with Studio which is unlimited tracks like Producer. Essentials/Homestudio has 64 tracks and honestly I never used all 64 in any song I have ever done. I don't get how people use more than a dozen unless they are maybe doing some heavy duty layering.
