what is the best memory configuration for an 870?

My options for an i7 870 in a 8GB's size are...

8GB (4 x 2GB)  PC3-10666 DDR3 1333MHz CL9 (9-9-9-24) 1.6V SDRAM DIMM, Non-ECC

8GB (4 x 2GB)  PC3-10600 DDR3 1333MHz CL9 (9-9-9-24) 1.5V SDRAM DIMM, Non-ECC

8GB (4 x 2GB)  PC3-12800 DDR3 1600MHz CL9 (9-9-9-24) 1.65V SDRAM DIMM, Non-ECC

8GB (4 x 2GB) PC3-12800 DDR3 1600MHz CL8 (8-8-8-24) 1.65V SDRAM DIMM, Non-ECC

8GB (2 x 4GB) PC3-12800 DDR3 1600MHz CL9 (9-9-9-24) 1.65V SDRAM DIMM, Non-ECC

8GB (4 x 2GB) PC3-12800 DDR3 1600MHz CL7 (7-8-7-20) 1.65V SDRAM DIMM, Non-ECC

and i guess it doesn't make sense to go any higher because the processor only supports up to 1333 Mhz memory.  but one of these has to be the best for a DAW studio computer.  my guess is the 7-8-7-20 timing.  but since the processor only supports up to 1333 Mhz, wouldn't it be wiser to choose that speed?  one of the motherboards i'm getting will either support up to 1600 MHz or 1666 Mhz.  not sure which motherboard to choose either.

Slight difference between your first option and your last.  Unless you're going to overclock, which I don't recommend, go with your first (or second) option.  And if there is any money saved by going with your first option, put it towards a plugin or soft synth as it will be a more useful tool in actually making music than having memory with nice specs.

i noticed the prices for ram are more for the ones that have the lower timings.  Does it mean that these are better and faster?  They also use higher volts.  Since all of these memory types are available for a 1156 870 processor, I'm assuming that they would all be compatible.  I just want to pick the one that will give me the best memory speed without any problems with the CPU and motherboard.
