where has the gain box gone on a frozen VST - from a midi using Simple Instrument source

In the latest version of Splat - when I freeze a synth track...the velocity box stays as is. In previous versions this box changed to a gain control. Is this new behaviour correct...it has been a few versions since I checked this..

Thanks

I think you're mis-remembering, unless there was a version in between X3e and Newburyport that behaved differently. A simple Instrument track always shows the Vel+ control regardless of whether it's frozen or not. You have to split the Instrument track or go to the Audio tab in the Track Inspector to get at the audio Gain.

Glad to help. But just to be clear, X3e was the same as the current Platinum.
