where is my master channel?

hi everyone, i just got a new computer and as you all know it takes time to find ones way around. i'm having problems with my interface (focusrite scarlett 6i6) and i'm guessing my problem has something to do with it. here's the problem, i can't get any signal to the master (or, any of them, why are their so many?)
i will appreciate any suggestions or ideas.
i'm also going to try and put all the computer info as well.
thanks

First, let's start with something fun.

Have you perhaps activated unlimited limiting?

    OK, real life.

I'm assuming that you've installed the Focusrite ASIO driver. Have you enabled it for use in SONAR via Edit | Preferences under Audio | Devices, Audio | Driver Settings, and Audio | Playback and Recording? If so, what track(s) and type(s) (audio, MIDI) have you created? What do you have (instrument(s) and/or mics) plugged into the Focusrite? Do you have monitoring enabled on the track(s)?

Sorry for all the questions. I have more, but will stop here.

thank you for your questions, i will now try and answer them. the focusrite ASIO drivers are installed. my basic recording method is always the same, it's where i start. first, i load my drum program, superior drums, i assign each "drum" to it's own track then add a stereo bus and then have all the outputs sent to it. second, i add 2 audio tracks where after i find a starting beat with S/D i record a scratch guitar and vox on the 2 audio tracks. after that i just start building the song. my problem seems to be with the focusrite scarlett 6i6, it will not recognize the fact that i need all audio and MIDI to go to a master bus. actually, i'm having more problems with the 6i6 then with sonar. apparently there are routing configurations that will work with sonar.
i have to tell you at this point i'm ready to buy a simple 2 in 2 out interface and use this thing as a paperweight. i hope i'm making sense.
