which will be the fastest?

these are all hard drive hookup scenarios.im after the best one.

1. a pci express x1 card with firewire inputs to an external sata II HD

2. a external HD via usb 2.0

3. a internal but seperate PATA hard drive (all these are for "audio streaming only"

    option 3
    then option 1 kinda slow
    option 2 is dog slow

    option 4 eSata is the best or internal sata
