why can't you post using a ipod touch on wi-fi

my ipod won't let me type in this field here. but i can add smilies  and hit the post button. that is just strange that only this typing field here wont bring up the touch keyboard. anyone else tried?

I7 2600k 3.4g on a ASUS MB with 16 gb of ram
