I think it's unlikely I'm afraid. BitBridge has been fairly reliable (in my experience anyway) for some time now. I think a lot of people here would prefer Cakewalk to spend their time fixing other things like some well known X1 shortcomings and AudioSnap.
My DAW: Intel i5, Cakewalk UA-1G, Win7 64 bit, SONAR X1a Producer 64 bit

Bitbridge was outsourced (and there isn't anything wrong with that.) Why not just turn it over to a 3rd party vendor so that they can dedicate their resources to the product.

Most of my plugs are working perfectly with BitBridge but I've noticed that some doesn't work unless I wrap them with jBridge. It's just how it is I think. I'm using Win7 Pro X64. I think that bitBridge is fine, the problems is with plug in makers to make it compatible with it (my speculations of course). Toontrack wrote on their website that in order to use Superior Drummer in 64-bit Sonar you should wrap it with jBridge in stead of BitBridge

I've been experiencing the infamous bit bridge crash with soft synths so researched and found out about J Bridge. I'm finding projects that were done on another machine that had soft synths I don't have and removing them from the project, crashes X1 and requires a re-boot. I'm going to try and reconstruct the project from scratch. I was hoping X1b might have addressed this, but to be honest, I haven't read the gig list of what's being fixed in the next release.

So instead of wasting resources changing their 32 bit product or chasing down factors as to why a bridging app is failing to help bridging app developers, they put their resources to producing a native 64 bit version of their software. Both 32 bit and 64 bit versions are included with new installers and updates.

I'm wondering......... should i purchase and install "j-bridge" to work together with Bitbridge just in an attempt to avoid any possible problems before I install my 32bit Waves Rennaisance plugins? From what I've read in alot of threads, Bitbridge should do the trick just fine. But i'm thinking "just in case". Still running 8.5.3.

My Waves Gold Bundle V8 plugs work fine with Sonar X1. Why not try 'em and see.
