I don't have Vista, but I do have Pyro 5 and as far as I know it won't run on Vista:

    Pyro 5 Minimum System Requirements

Intel or AMD processor, 500MHz or better
    Windows® 2000/XP
    128 MB RAM
CD-R or CD-RW writer for burning CDs
    DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, or DVD-RW writer to create DVDs
DVD+R DL writer to create Dual-Layer DVDs

Hi, I am using Pyro 5 for the first time. I am trying to record from a LP to my PC. I selected to "Make Audio Cd" and attempted to follow the directions to connect stereo to computer. But I could not locate the "Start Recording" button. Help

Try this: Open Pyro 5. From the default main Start menu, under "Other Tasks" on the right-hand side, select "Record an audio file." You now should see the "Start Recording" option...
