Do worry about equipment.....the group that cancelled had to leave their equipment by court order.

Ummm, any lefty guitars or basses? Yamaha DX7, Fender Rhodes suitcase and a Wurlitzer 200 or a setup capable of producing them (and a tuned grand piano, Preferably a 7' Yamaha or Kawai)? *LOL*

Kidding (sorta)...Would love to help out but my son and his family (my granddaughters) are leaving tomorrow morning to go back to their North Carolina some so I think I'll hang out with them tonight...

They only get to come here once a year due to his current training program (Military). My wife would surely divorce me if I left to play a gig that required flying to get there...Hell, she'd probably divorce me if I left to play a two-Hour gig for Happy Hour at the neighborhood pub!!

No, I know you did, papa...I was talking about our esteemed colleague Dave. I just threw the "some people" in there so as not to point the finger directly at anyone...

edit: and now, of course, Dave is gonna yell at me...

That's it. I will NEVER AGIN book a non refundable flight based on a thread in this forum.
Good thing I checked in from the airport.
Now I can go home and make sweet love to my girlfriend tonight.
She'll prolly ask "Where's the 15 Benjamins?", tho.
    I'll improvise.

    BTW,

I wonder if Jeff will at least reimburse me for the new bass string I bought?
I say string and not strings cuz I know he only plays country and I've never found use for more than one string for that genre.

    Hey Jeff-
FYI, all of the barmaids are X-Hooters girls.

I was gonna say "Only if there are some X-Clydesdales as well" until I caught myself and realized I meant "X-Chippendales"! Oh well, starts with "C", ends with "dales", so I was pretty close!

Maybe some of us can link up and help you out virtually.

    Happy New Year!
