x0 Lanes?

Every time I loop record, I get an x0 lane for every xN (like x1,x2,x3) lane I get. I just delete them. Anyone else experiencing this? Is there a reason for x0 lanes I don't know about? There's nothing in them.

I have had strange experiences after applying the quick fix. For example...
- After the quick fix, I wasn't able to get effects in the effects box to work on a track in one case. I had to add them to the pro channel to get them active.
- tracks disappear
- muting can still go strange

Overall, I'm happy with X2. I'm able to use it reliably.
Lessons Learned
- I found I had to reduce rendering from 32 to 24 bit 88.2 or suffer drop outs.
- I watch the Performance Meters. TH2 can cause problems here when recording 24 bit 88.2 (in a 32 track project) on my PC, pushing the processor meter red and causing strange sounds, then no sounds at all. Disabling TH2 while tracking helped work around this hardware ceiling.
- I have to watch my snap level. It changes as I zoom and I'm not used to this yet. I find myself repeatedly resetting it. Is there a toggle for untying this from the zoom level?

On a side note, is there a way to freeze all synths at once? Clicking the freeze buttons one at a time gets frustrating.

I'm glad I bought X2. I'm going to get to be more efficient at mixing because of the improvements.

I kinda wish I hadn't applied the quick fix, (or I'm uncertain about it). I'm looking forward to a patch and suffering my learning curve in the meant time. Lots to learn here, but this is good work on the whole.

BTW, to me, improvements in the audio engine mean more mixing with less processing, not a change in the 0s and 1s. People were doing negative tests and stuff to see if the audio was different out of X1 and X2 to prove engine changes. To me, engine changes mean you have to burn fewer cycles to get to those 0s and 1s. These improvements are something hard for a human to measure, but may mean you can leave more real-time FX in place without dropouts than you otherwise could.

Best to the team. I know you worked hard on this. IMHO, your hard work shows and I'm grateful.

I'm not sure I follow. But, I get a blank lane when recording it seems frequently. Like you said, I just delete it, but it's kinda weird......if I'm following.
