x1 vs x2

I bought x1 with great anticipation that finally I'd have the dream machine, but as many of you know, X1 had significant bugs, enough so that it made it unstable, and being that I do this professionally, that made it garbage.
Now x2 comes along, and I must admit that I so totally lost faith that I'm not willing to give it a try; however, there's still a glimmer of hope that it's stable. Would anyone care to chime in?

First off you are dead wrong in that X1 with the patches is very stable on a good stable machine. X2 at this point is not as stable for me so that may be true with you but you wont know because you are not running X1.

You really need to update you views on X1 most by far find it very stable now.

Im still holding onto X1 Pro Expanded hoping X2 will not require patch after patch.

Im just an old home based playing to have fun but it is nice to be able to know you can do something with confidence.

I JUST had a hard drive crash and had all the backups but in my lack of knowledge didnt know exactly what I was doing.  I finally got X1, a. b, c, and Expanded reinstalled and things are working different and even the EQ in PC doesnt look right to me.  Im afraid to go back and reinstall Windows and everything again cause all this patch work just takes forever.

I just learned about this Acronis thing and hope it makes things much easier when this happens and no surprises after reloads.

Hopefully X2 will be much friendlier as far as this goes.  But I am still holding off to see how it goes after X2a hits the streets    I know some will have their probs and others will be good and so far is looking promising to me.

    to the OP

yer it don't work.. yer I don't list my specs....  yer it's all cakewalks fault.. remember : any music program regardless of maker works with what it's given hardware wise..  such posts make me NOT post on here now, as it's boring fast 6 months ago.

you give specifics / specs for starters .. and it's more than 1 person confirming the same... GREAT , otherwise it's just noise and might as well be "blah blah blah blah"
