z3ta / arp question

I am very new to z3ta and the documentation I have isn't the clearest.
Is there any way I can edit the arp of some of the sounds? Is this stored as a MIDI file?
Thanks

copy / pasted off Dogs on Acid >

    user arps-

(this is from the readme, which can be found in the z3ta /arps folder )

1- Create a 1-bar, 4/4 type-0 MIDI file with your arpeggio (check input.mid as sample).
2- Name it 'input.mid' and put it in -same folder- than mid2cmp.exe
3- Run mid2cmp.exe. This will create a file called 'arp000.cmp' in the same folder.
4- Rename it as next available arpeggio slot (ie 'arp052.cmp').
5- Try it in z3ta+. It's not needed to restart z3ta+ to re-test it, just reselect it.

    couldn't find "mid2cmp" ... but b-rock posted this ages ago >

Just another end user here. Try this workaround:

Options -> Import MIDI File to Arpeggiator ... Click on the AR button under Low Frequency Oscillators.
Use the dropdown menu (only) under Pattern to select one of the other shipping arps (for instance, Arp001).
Then select MIDI File from the same Pattern dropdown menu.

    Run mid2cmp.exe
I have a feeling this applies only to early versions of Z3ta+. IIRC, the current version uses MIDI files directly ... but I suggest you take a sneak peek at the documentation, which I don't have to hand at this instant.
