z3ta+ corrupted file format :(

Hi All,

I noticed the code in z3ta+ .fxp programs gets corrupted very easily. For instance, if you open up a created or edited program in any text editor you may see the absolute paths for ocill.set is corrupted and not correct. (I'm using the most current version 1.5.3.)

Example:

C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\z3ta+\Wavetables\oscill.set RGC Audio\z3ta+\rgcaudio z3ta+\Wavetables\oscill.set

(In the example above, everything past "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\z3ta+\Wavetables\oscill.set" is invalid with no way of revising it short of rebuilding the program from scratch.)

Even if you initialize a new program you can see in the example below the absolute path is incomplete missing the "C" drive. This happens at random.

FILE NAME :\Program Files\Cakewalk\z3ta+\Wavetables\oscill.set

Worse yet, if you assign a user wav, then save the program and change or delete the wav, the code is corrupted as below. z3ta+ clearly doesnt handle program revisions very well.

 C:Program Files\Cakewalk\z3ta+\Wavetables\newwav3.wav avetables\newwave2.wav

Does anyone know a way to edit this data in a text editor tool to fix it? Also, z3ta+ maps an absolute path to user defined wavetables. This path isnt the same for every user as it depends on everyone's individual vst reference path. How does z3ta+ know to load the correct wavs with an absolute path from one user to another on a given program?

This was discovered by trying to determine why arp sounds dont always load correctly. The arpeggio programs sometimes wont trigger by either being silent or just sustaining a held note? This usually requires reloading those programs one to several times.

Thanks for any info
