z3ta+ new program name

Can I get a saved (or modified) program file to show up in the program bank as my named file? Or can it only load as 000: --- , or the original file name, after it is modified?

    Let me put it another way - can the names of program files be changed and reflected in Zeta banks? If so, how is this done. I save files under different names, but they always load as the original name. Thanks in advance for any help!

    Shift+click on the file name displayed, and enter your description. If you want a program to appear on every launch, load it [Program button: Load Program File (.fxp)], go to the Bank button, and Save Default Bank. Note that this is an overwriting process, so consider your backup procedures beforehand.

    Yeah, this is kind of a pain. I hope that in the next update (or so) we get the much more flexible Rapture/Dim Pro approach.

    By the way, I just got a response from tech support that there was no way to change program names. So I informed them about your fix b rock! Thanks again.

    tech support that there was no way to change program names.
    To be fair, these guys are trying to cover a lot of software and all of the thousands of nuances.
    Myself, unless I'm absolutely sure, I never say "Never".

    It may or may not be in z3ta's release notes. I'm certain that Rene has mentioned it, either here, or at KVR - rgc:audio. But I came about it by thinking back to an earlier synth (PSYN) of Rene's, and trying the same procedure out.
