Y'all would be a lot less stressed if you stopped tying the point releases to actual months. ... ok I get that Cake try to do it because of the monthly subscribers who would complain, it's not really a legit complaint. Did I just destroy my own straw man? Dang. I guess that is what it was for.

Personally, with the changes in 2017.08 which focused almost exclusively on the Start Screen, I don't mind if the Bakers skip a few months of updates if they bring us something that has more impact on music/sonic creativity.

I wouldn't mind if they added some content, preferably mine, licensed at a generous fee. One thing I would like is if they came up with some kind of intelligent arrangement tool. You could have a place to enter chords above the tracks (like markers) and an MFX on a given track would try to generate a guitar, bass, drum, or keyboard track to fit the chords and rhythms. It would be kind of like having Jamstix or EZ Keys on a given track without the hassle of linking the output of those programs to the instrument you really wanted to be playing..

Ditto. A month. Six weeks. Two months. Does it really matter as long as they keep improving SONAR. We used to wait at least a year.

Mebbe they fixed the clip slivers problem. Or the first-play-hangs problem when switching projects. Or maybe auto crossfade now returns back to original fade when pulling clips apart again.

At the end of every month the updates come later and later, so why look for a particular date. Just wait for the updates to come, even if it rolls over into the next month. I'm always surprised by what the bakers offer us. Side note: The Bakers did forget my birthday in mid September, but it's not like I was expecting that free CAKEWALK COFFEE MUG I've been requesting for years, or anything like that. Just saying Bakers.... (Darn, I'll never get that free mug)

Because they know the next request will be monthly refills. Then lifetime free refills. It's a downward spiral.
