Love the production - very smooth and open. Drums in the background deep but have spots where they are more distinct than many ... rockers. Same w/ the bass. Great arrangement. Some tasty guitar in there, too. very evocative. Sounds radio ready, tho few stations would show that much taste ;-) @

BTW, there's a rumor going around that the bass is a 1977 Alembic.

Wow, this was not what I expected "at all..." The synths were really cool. The voicing, and the patches. Guitar and bass were nice as well.

I was about to turn it off when it picked up. I think the intro was a tad long. I would prefer a much more powerful feel from the drums in the first half, and the first guitar was also a bit quiet (I expected it to grow and was disappointed that it did not). Something odd is happening with the drums at 2:15... I listened to it three time to be sure, but it sounds like a bit of a stumble. The second half was very interesting, and you used a wonderful sounding set of synths.

Lynn That was a fun ride through your imagination. Solid all the way around and tuneful. Good jobs! Thanks Lynn! I've loved the book that inspired this project since I was a child, and it's a great pleasure to get absorbed in trying to create the moods that come from written words.

Really like that tremolo guitar during the intro. Bass guitar tone is nice and meaty. To me, the snare could use just a titch of reverb or maybe 20 to 30ms of delay and a slight bump of 1k eq. Lead guitar has a nice "Tull" tone that fits just right. This is good stuff James. I'm a buyer when the disc is done. Randy
